This course will introduce theories, 概念, 知识, and skills for managers in commercialized and community-based sports in the 澳大利亚n context. Students will develop an understanding of the range of challenges facing 21st century sports managers, including a complex socio cultural environment, competitive business markets, the management of a range of key stakeholders, the future of sports management, and strategic planning to meet future sporting organizations' objectives; evaluate how public policy, sports governance, and legislative requirements impact on the management of sporting organizations; and explore 澳大利亚's wider social utility of sports.
